A list of CBA agents (those who represent authors in the Christian market) http://www.christianwritersinfo.net/tips7.htm Some tips on looking for an agent from right-writing.com http://www.right-writing.com/published-safest.html This is the Preditors and Editors website to check on agents: http://www.anotherealm.com/prededitors/pealc.htm The following links are for information on a few of my favorite annual conferences. American Christian Fiction Writers has an annual conference in the fall and the location moves from one section of the country to another. Lots of opportunities to meet editors and agents and network with other authors who share your interests. Mount Hermon Writer's Conference in beautiful San Jose, California is widely known for its amazing faculty and huge attendance so sign up early! It's held at a family camp once a year in the spring, offering appointments and sharing mealtimes with a wide variety of professionals in the industry. Write-To-Publish Conference in the Chicago area, also held in the spring. Besides the location on one of the loveliest Christian campuses in the Midwest, the faculty is comprised of a variety of fiction and non-fiction editors and agents. This conference has long held the tone of being APPROACHABLE—friendly faculty, encouraging staff. It's smaller than Mount Hermon but, like Mount Hermon, many who attend once do so again and again.
